Doctoral student's research work

  • The doctoral student's research work (DSRW) is a mandatory component of the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) training and is aimed at forming professional research competencies, obtaining new scientific knowledge, and preparing a dissertation research. DSRW is carried out in accordance with the doctoral student's individual work plan, the educational program, and the approved dissertation topic. The main goal of the research work is to conduct independent scientific research aimed at solving a relevant scientific problem that has theoretical and practical significance. In the process of performing DSRW, the doctoral student masters modern methods of scientific research, analyzes domestic and foreign scientific sources, develops research methodology, conducts experimental or analytical work, summarizes the results obtained, and formulates scientifically grounded conclusions
  • The research work is carried out in stages throughout the entire period of doctoral studies and concludes with the presentation of results in the form of scientific articles, reports, publications in peer-reviewed journals, and submission for the defense of the doctoral dissertation. An important result of DSRW is the acquisition of scientifically grounded conclusions possessing elements of scientific novelty, theoretical value, and practical significance

Pedagogical practice

Pedagogical practice in doctoral studies is aimed at forming and developing professional competencies necessary for successful scientific-pedagogical activity in higher education institutions.
