The event, organized jointly with the UN and the UN Women structure in Kazakhstan, was aimed at supporting the empowerment of women and promoting a culture of safety.
The opening remarks were delivered by KNUS Rector K.T. Kuangalievna, Head of the UN Women Coordination Office in Central Asia, Dr. Jeren Guven Gures, and the UN Resident Coordinator in Kazakhstan, Sarango Radnaragcha.
The initiative focuses on supporting women in sports, expanding their opportunities, and fostering a culture of safety. During the meeting, participants discussed the role of women in sports, shared experiences, and explored prospects for further cooperation.
