On the opening day of the Kazakh National University of Sports in the capital, a symbolic event took place that aims to become a new international tradition.

On this day, the "Alley of Sports Diplomacy" was established: world sports leaders planted trees. The initiative brought together heads of the world's largest sports organizations, Olympic champions, and representatives of international federations, highlighting Kazakhstan's growing role as a platform for global sports dialogue.

The ceremony was not just an environmental action, but a symbol of long-term partnership, trust, and cooperation between countries through sports. Each planted tree embodies the strengthening of international ties, the development of joint projects, and investment in the future of the global sports community.

The honor of being the first to plant the alley was given to the President of United World Wrestling (UWW) Nenad Lalović, the President of UWW Asia Mohammed Al-Awamleh, and the Advisor to the President of the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation, Olympic champion Serik Sapiyev. The following day, their initiative was supported by honorary guests of the ceremony: Filip Sykora (WSG University), Petra Sörling (ITTF), Vlad Marinescu (IESF), Song Kang-young (Korea Institute of Sport Science), Ludvik Toplak (Alma Mater Europaea University), Diana Reklaitienė (Lithuanian Sports University), and Jiang Yuhong (Harbin Sport University).

The "Alley of Sports Diplomacy" became a symbol of the opening of a new university, which is already positioned as one of the largest educational projects in Central Asia in the field of sports science, management, and the training of international-level specialists.

The appearance of such an alley reflects a modern trend in which sports are becoming a vital instrument of international diplomacy, cultural exchange, and the strengthening of humanitarian ties. For Kazakhstan, this is also a signal of a transition to a new model of sports industry development: from organizing competitions to creating an international intellectual and educational ecosystem.

The planting of the alley was a logical continuation of the university's intensive international opening program, during which strategic agreements were signed with leading global sports organizations. All of this strengthens Kazakhstan's position as one of the key centers of sports diplomacy and international cooperation in Eurasia.

The "Alley of Sports Diplomacy" created today is a living symbol of the partnerships that will shape the future of world sports, uniting states, federations, and educational institutions around universal values and sustainable development.
