About the Department

The Department of Financial and Economic Planning and Analysis is a structural unit of the Kazakh National University of Sports LLP, responsible for the formation of the annual budget and the cash flow budget of the University, ensuring their execution, monitoring the targeted use of financial resources, as well as financial and economic planning and analysis of expenses.

Department Objective

The main purpose of the Department's activity is to ensure sound financial planning, execution of the approved Budget and Cash Flow Budget of the University, and the targeted and rational use of financial resources, including financing the maintenance and operation of the University's infrastructure.

Tasks of the Department

1. 1Formation (development) of the annual budget and the cash flow budget of the University
2. 2Ensuring the execution of the approved Budget and Cash Flow Budget of the University
3. 3Ensuring the targeted use of the University's financial resources allocated under the approved Budget

Functions of the Department

1. 1Monitoring and preparation of reports on the execution of the Budget and Cash Flow Budget of the University
2. 2Analysis of expenses for making adjustments to the financial and economic activity plan
3. 3Conducting an analysis of the effective and rational use of financial, material, and labor resources in order to identify internal reserves, reduce the cost of services provided, prevent losses, and prevent the misuse of funds
4. 4Calculation of tariffs, overhead costs, and the cost of services provided by the University in accordance with the approved Budget
5. 5Providing information regarding the planning of University budgets for the preparation of the procurement plan and approval of applications for the inclusion of goods, works, and services in the University's Procurement Register
6. 6Consulting and providing methodological assistance on issues within the competence of the Department
7. 7Systematic improvement of the professional level and qualifications of the Department's employees

Planning of expenses for the maintenance and operation of the University's infrastructure

• Determination and analysis of the need for financial resources for the maintenance and operation of academic buildings, dormitories, sports facilities, and other University infrastructure objects
• Planning of expenses for utilities, technical maintenance, current repairs, and ensuring the functioning of facilities
• Conducting economic calculations of the cost of services related to the use of sports infrastructure for organizing the educational and training process
• Preparation of calculations and justifications for expenses for the maintenance of facilities, taking into account their functional purpose and intensity of use
• Participation in the development of economically sound mechanisms for financing and reimbursement of expenses related to the operation of the University's infrastructure
