- Vacant educational grants are provided in accordance with Order of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 443 dated August 25, 2023
Vacant grants are awarded on a competitive basis to fee-paying students by groups of educational programs.
The competition is conducted based on the results of interim assessment, taking into account the cumulative GPA for the entire period of study.
The university publishes an announcement of the competition on its official website. The Registrar’s Office forms a list of vacant grants twice a year (January 1 and July 1).
In the event of equal GPA, preference is given to students with higher grades. Students with grades F or FX are not eligible to participate in the competition.
Students with academic debt, as well as those transferred from foreign universities (except those holding a UNT certificate), are not eligible to participate.
Grants are awarded based on the results of the main examination session (excluding retakes of F and FX) by January 25 and August 5.

In the absence of applicants, grants are redistributed in accordance with the established procedure.
Based on the decision of the authorized body, a grant certificate is issued, after which the rector issues an order for transfer to grant-funded education.
