The Kazakh National University of Sports has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Sports Committee (Central Sports Club) of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This agreement opens up new opportunities for the comprehensive training of highly qualified specialists who combine sports, scientific, and military-applied preparation.

Within the framework of the cooperation, the parties intend to develop joint educational initiatives aimed at training specialists for the fields of sports and defense, introduce practice-oriented approaches into the educational process, and consider the establishment of a military department at the university. In addition, special attention will be given to the development of students’ tactical and strategic training, the formation of applied skills in line with modern requirements, as well as the organization of training camps, seminars, and joint events.

The implementation of the memorandum will strengthen the integration of sports, science, and defense training, expand the university’s educational opportunities, and create additional conditions for students’ professional development. KNUS continues to strengthen strategic partnerships with government bodies and build a modern system for training in-demand specialists.
