The Career

1. Career Counseling

The goal of career counseling is to help you build a successful professional path. We create a safe and supportive environment where every student can receive individualized guidance. During our consultations, we:

Focus on your goals and needs.
Ensure confidentiality and a comfortable atmosphere.
Motivate you to actively participate in the process.
Offer useful career-related resources.
Develop personalized strategies for job and internship searches.

We offer consultations on academic days throughout the entire academic year on the following topics:

Networking with alumni and professional contacts.
Interview preparation.
Resume and cover letter review and improvement.
Continuing education and career development.
Effective job search strategies.
Internship organization and completion.

2. Resume

A resume plays a key role in the job search process. Whether you are looking for a full-time or part-time job, an internship, volunteer work, or planning to continue your education, it is important to prepare high-quality professional documents. Employers often form their first impression of a candidate based on these materials. Well-prepared documents significantly increase your chances of being invited to an interview. We recommend using the APEMS resume template or scheduling a consultation at the Center to improve your resume, as well as participating in resume-writing workshops.

Resume Writing Basics

Limit your resume to one page.
Use a clear, easy-to-read font; font size should not exceed 11, and margins should be no smaller than 0.5 cm.
Keep the design simple and clear so the resume is easy to read.
Highlight important information (e.g., with bold text or spacing), but do not overuse formatting.
Proofread your resume carefully—avoid grammatical and punctuation errors.
Use action verbs and keywords to showcase your achievements.
List experience in reverse chronological order, starting with the most recent position.
Including specific numbers and amounts makes your experience more impactful.
Do not use personal pronouns (I, we, you, etc.).

DUAL EDUCATION

Dual education is an educational model that integrates theoretical instruction at an educational institution with practical training at an enterprise. This system enables learners to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills in both academic and professional environments, contributing to more effective preparation for future professional activities and increasing their competitiveness in the labor market.

Regulations on Dual Education

At present, the Academy has entered into a cooperation agreement for the implementation of the dual education system. Within this framework, students undergo training that combines theoretical classes at the educational institution with practical experience at BINOM SCHOOL Lyceum named after Akhmet Baitursynuly.
